This handcrafted bread knives also known as a fiddle bow bread knife, are perfect for cutting all types of breads, loafs, & bagels. We use 10" Stainless Steel Blades with serrated edges for increasing friction and allows better performances while cutting. This also makes for a better choice with your daily bread cutting and can help produce fewer breadcrumbs and reduce waste. 

This bread knife, made with a stainless-steel blade, is perfect for slicing through loaves with ease. The durable stainless steel ensures durability & long-lasting sharpness, making this knife a reliable tool for any kitchen. Enjoy effortless slicing and clean cuts every time with this Bread Knife.

No stains are used on any of the woods, all the coloring and grains are the woods natural colors. We use Food Grade Mineral Oil and our Food Grade & Food Safe homemade board wax on all wooden Bread Knife handles. 

You can choose your Bread Knife to be in several different wood color options: Walnut, Maple, Cherry, or African Sapele.

Each Bread Knife is made to order, please be advised it can take up to 3-5 days before shipment to allow us to create your custom knife.

Due to the wood is 100% natural and sourced from different trees, it makes each board one of a kind! As a disclaimer we want you to know that the coloring and the grains of wood boards can vary slightly from displayed item.

How to Use

Using caution hold the bread you are cutting in a stationary position and cut your bread in a saw-like motion, going back and forth slowly. This allows a cleaner & more precise cut. 

Never use on frozen foods. 

Would recommend always cutting on a wooden cutting board due to other surfaces such as glass, ceramic, granite, stone, marble, etc can cause dulling to your blade. 

Washing & Care for Your Bread Knife

Please use caution while washing and drying your Bread Knife.

Hand wash the knife in warm water and soap with the blade away from you. Wash separately.

Do not soak in water or place in the dishwasher as this can cause damage to both the wood & blade. 

 Wipe dry with a clean towel from the dull side to the sharp edge and include the handle as well. 


Using caution, we recommend you apply food-grade mineral oil with a lint free rag to your blade and handle. It prevents corrosion or any other reactions that may come about in the stainless steel within the blade & seals the wood used on the handle.

When storing your knife to prevent damage, would recommend storing in a dry area separately away from other utensils to prevent other items from being moved around which can cause scratches or damage to the blade. 

Disclaimer: These knife blades are sharp so please always use with caution while using, washing, & storing. Be careful while using your bread knife & keep them away from children. Store them in safe areas. We provide a blade cover that we recommend placing back over the blade once you are finished using your knife.

For added care & maintenance add our Board Wax.

2 oz Jar - Food Safe

This board butter is perfect for conditioning and upkeeping any cutting board, charcuterie board, wooden utensils, wood trays, or other natural wood items that you have in your household. 

Our board butter is made with Organic Beeswax, Vegan Mineral Oil with Vitamin E, and Organic Coconut Oil. 

Your wood having a dry appearance is good sign to condition your board or other natural wood items. 

Application

Clean and allow your cutting board or wooden item to dry before applying.

Best to use a lint free paper towel or rag.  Apply a thin layer to the surface until the entire area is covered. Let it sit overnight so it can soak into the wood. Wipe off any excess the next day. Use caution when using on the Bread Knife due to the blade is sharp.
